CRÉÉE EN 2019, ProCare Medical Laboratory est un laboratoire de tests médicaux. Communément appelé ProCare, il est fondé et géré par Divia Deesha Gun-gah-Gokool. Celle-ci s’est lancée dans cette aventure, suite à ses années passées en Angleterre. Elle ouvre ProCare à Maurice, dans l’optique de partager son expérience et de pouvoir contri-buer au développement de ce secteur sur l’île. Afin de mener à bien sa mission, elle décide d’équiper son laboratoire d’équi-pements allemands et japonais. Pour cause, selon elle, le matériel médical proposé par ces pays est gage d’un service complet et sûr. En termes de chiffres, au-jourd’hui ProCare compte six employés spécialisés dans différents domaines d’analyse médicale et de laboratoire. Ces personnes sont deux phlébotomistes, deux scientifiques laborantins et deux pathologistes. Chaque département est aussi muni d’équipements médicaux issus des technologies allemandes et japonaises et qui sont tous d’une valeur estimée entre Rs 600 OO0 et Rs 1,2 million. Our laboratory Director Deesha Gungah-Gokool explains about our equipment to enhance laboratory checks in Mauritius.

ProCare Medical Laboratory est comme son nom l’indique un laboratoire de test
médical. Fondé en 2019, par Deesha Gungah-Gokool, c’est au terme de ses
années passées en Angleterre qu’elle a souhaité apporté son expertise à Maurice. Afin
de mener à bien sa mission, elle décide d’équiper son laboratoire de machine allemand
et japonais, afin de permettre à ses patients d’être testés dans les meilleures conditions
possibles.
L’équipe médicale comporte 6 personnes, qui sont spécialisés dans différents
domaines. Ainsi, l’on retrouve deux Phébotomistes, deux scientifiques laborantins et
deux Pathologistes. A noter que chaque département sont aussi munis d’équipements
médicaux spécialisés. La compagnie a d’ailleurs investi des sommes conséquentes afin
de se munir de ces machines sanitaires. Comptez entre Rs 600 000 à Rs 1,2 millions
par équipement.
Il est aussi important de noter que ProCare s’est aussi adapté à la situation suite au
passage de la Covid-19. D’ailleurs, selon les dires de Deesha Gungah-Gokool,

le Tacrolimus peuvent également être effectués sur cette machine. Nous disposons
aussi d’un Sysmex, qui nous permet d’avoir un comptage différentiel en 5 parties des
différents types de globules blancs », souligne-t-elle.
